About the Position: We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Electrical Engineering Team Lead to join our team in Raleigh, NC. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Oversee the design, analysis, and implementation of power distribution and lighting systems for various projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies in all engineering work.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within budget and on schedule.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members throughout project phases, from initial concept to final execution.
- Review and approve engineering plans, designs, and documentation to guarantee technical accuracy and project quality.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance team knowledge and project outcomes.
- Act as a technical expert and provide input on strategic decisions regarding electrical engineering projects and practices.
- Engage in client meetings, presentations, and proposals to strengthen client relationships and secure new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License required.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in power distribution and lighting system design.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to oversee complex engineering projects from start to finish.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
